Coretax readiness: a practical checklist for mid-size companies

Andi Pratama, Partner, Tax Advisory

Digital tax administration changes how data moves between a company and the tax office. Before any system change, the first question is simple: which records would you need to prove a filing, and where do they live today?

A practical starting point is master data. Taxpayer identity, branch codes, tax-invoice numbering and vendor records should be consistent across finance, purchasing and sales. Small mismatches are common in mid-size companies and are much easier to fix before filing season.

Access rights deserve the same attention. Decide who prepares, who reviews and who submits, and make sure those roles exist in the system before they are needed under deadline pressure.

This article is general information about how to prepare. Check the current rules and procedures with a licensed tax consultant before acting on any specific obligation.
